Thanks for posting those up. Frankly,thats why I've held off buying the Speed Dealer Custom cap...I'm not a fan of the mismatched sides and I don't want to do away with my fuel gauge. Who cares as long as you are happy!

 

I like to get a flip top gas cap like on 1968-1970 Dodge Chargers.

 

Checkout Joker Machine, i believe they have flip up gas caps.

Not sure how I feel about miss-matching. It'd certainly be a much easier decision if I didn't have a fuel gauge to worry about. I wouldn't even mind ditching the gauge not until I know I can get back my "miles till empty" function back. When installed a Thundermax with autotune on my ride it killed that function for some reason. I did fire up the bike once with my stock ECM before I tore it all down and I did see that the function was back but I don't know that it was reading correctly.

I actually really like this set from Harley. I would have liked these for the previous look of my bike. However, since I am getting rid of pretty much all the satin and denim black on my bike and my new tank has quite the sparkly metal flake job on it I don't know that these caps would fit the bill...
