Yes, you can use the Wards fans with the DK coil relocation. Kevin( the K in DK) has them on his Softail.
This is Kevin's Softail.
You will need three extra parts because the stud on the horn bracket is not long enough for both the coil and coil relo and the wards fans it must be extended. The parts you will need are a washer, stud, and coupling nut.
You can get them at you local hardware store for under five dollars.
Here is a picture of the hardware needed
Using the coupling nut, one end on the threads from the horn bracket, and one end for the stud, it gives the extra length needed to put the coil relo bracket on outside the Wards fans. The large washer is used to get a little extra space between the coil relo and the fans so that nothing gets marred up.
Kevin used red threadlocker on the coupling nut, on both sides.
