LOL - A flip up peg does not cause the *** end to come loose. The rider over reacted to the sound of his pegs - The rear tire slide and he's a lousy rider. Can't tell if the bike bottomed out on frame.

Inexperienced rider, he got scared as he began to drag overcorrected and lost control.

I don't know why Harley insists on putting the pegs so low. They should be more up and forward, like 1.5" up and 2.5" forward. I would buy some replacement rearsets/pegs whatever the cruiser version is called, but they don't make a nice clean set, I want something with bearings that would make the shifter feel firmer and smoother.
