No mess fuel tank removal
Ordered one of these to drain the last of my fuel that I couldn't get with my siphon pump.

Worked like a charm. Just thought I'd share.

I figured I had to drain the last of that fuel out one way or the other. Why not do it with the gas tank stabilized on the bike. I actually lifted the rear of the tank slightly to make sure it all drained down to the front. I've heard a lot of people on here talking about pinching both sides of the tube with vice grips, then cutting the tube and removing the tank with the vice grips hanging off. Call me crazy but I refused to believe this was the best way to go about it. Just wanted to offer my solution up as well.

I've been using folded up cardboard to stick under the oil filter while taking it off the bike. Works really well.
As far as the fuel tank removal goes. I purchased a set of quick disconnect and made it fit on the crossover fuel line. Took me a while to find just the right length to allow me to disconnect the two ends without too much fuzzin.
