slide down the rubber boot that covers the adjustment bolt ( front of frame / below gas tank ) ...undo lock nut and twist the adjuster to loosen the cable as much as possible . there is a small clip under the pin on clutch lever perch....remove it carefully . remove the pin and slide out the lever....remove the brass cable pin and remove the lever . reverse to install .

The easiest way to replace the clutch lever is to remove the old one first. Just pulling your chain.
I'll ask the obvious question. Do you have a service manual for your '06 Springer Softail? If not, it's time to get one. It's the best $48 you'll ever spend.

Before you ask, HD manuals only come in hardcopy from dealers (ie: you cannot download them). This is the best price you'll find.

The pearl for removing the clutch lever is this:
DON'T lose the retaining (snap) ring that holds the pivot pin in place.
