The media blasting doesn't ruin the chrome at all, it's just etched "into" the chrome not "thru" it.

Haloed and Ghosted memorial Derby cover I had done by a local bike builder last year. On purpose, he painted it so at a distance all you can see is the bar and shield. You have to get up next to the bike and on your knees to even see the the writing. RIP pops.

My roadname FUBAR on trans and coin on inspection cover. Coins can be swapped out when needed.
