Cool bike!
Are you going to change the rear? (This is all just my opinion) If you aren't, then a 23 on the front and 17 on the rear looks a bit funny. Think you need an 18" on the rear as a minimum with the 23.
I personally would 23" on the front with a 21x8.5 on the rear with the new metzeler 260/35/21 if I were you. Now that'd look killer!!

I think it can go either way with white walls. It looks great on some and terrible on others. Everyone will have their say but at the end of the day it's your ride, so do what ever blows your hair back

**** yeah it would, the wheels and tyres alone worked out to be about $6000 Aussie dollars, so probably around $5000 US. Thunderbike in Germany have some great parts, but insanely expensive to buy with Aussie dollars

Looking to get some input here. I plan on getting some red ride wright wheels with black spokes, and red hubs. I really like whitewall tires however, I can't find anything other then a vee for a 23 which I heard not to get. So do I get a 21 with whitewalls or get a 23 with blackwalls? What do you guys think would look better?
Have you considered different color combos? Just my $0.02 but I think red rims/hubs might cause too much focus on the wheels and take away from the bike.
I was thinking black rims with red spokes and a black hub and a white wall tire might tone it down a bit; You could also do half red, half black spokes...

I hear ya. That's why I wanted you to know I've been pleased with my vee purchase. The new vee is much better than the old vee. Nonetheless, I think my vote would be for a 23" with a blackwall for you bike.
