Default Best Harley Service Dept. in Houston

Just wanting to hear from those who have had dealings in the Houston area with different HD service depts. The dealer were I bought my bike , which will remain unspoken, has a notoriously bad department. I have a issue with my bike on the alignment of the front end. Took it back where I bought it and all they did was realign the handlebars to the triple tree. I took by an independent Saturday that I have used in the past for his opinion and he said there was some kind of twist in the forks. The bike is a new 14 FatBoy with 1100+ miles. Never dropped or even bumped into a curb. The indy said he should be able to straighten it but would be about 2-300 bucks. When he asked me why I didn't take it back where I bought it and I told them who that was he laughed and said "I don't blame you!"

I had some bad luck with San Jacinto and won't go back there. The 2 times that I have dealt with Mancuso Central was good. Heard some good things about Cowboy in Beaumont, too.

I don't like San Jacinto either, but Stubbs has treated me well for service. Cowboy in Beaumont is good too, that's where I bought my bike. I'd go to them for more stuff but they are so far I only make the trip for big stuff.

If I lived in Houston again, I would be partial to Mancuso HD. I'm in central Texas now. I lived there in the late 80's and bought my '88 Heritage from Mancuso. At that time, his only location was on the north loop and his only competition was Stubbs.

Sorry for the shameless plug for Mancuso Harley. He was good to me. If anyone goes there, tell Johnny that Boog says hello.
