Nice build you got going on. But, instead of using that big horkin'-*** piece of metal tank adapter, why didn't you just slice off those two bottom tank tabs and weld up two new tabs to the front of the tank and mount it to the top mounting horn on your frame? That's what I did on this one.

my comp was acting up yesterday, wouldnt let me post pics. I was able to put this together with what was available to me right in my garage including the metric fender which i had to pound out some factory bends to straighten it out from rubbing the tire. i even mounted the speedo back on for temp use on the horn mount left side of the engine haha this thing worked great with what i improvised on for mounts and such. it gets great gas mileage with all the weight that was dropped from factory parts. lots of people dig the look. Hoping to get the rear tire done up to 200mm and paint this winter.

the thought occured to me, but its got a few purposes. Hides all the wiring, holds my ignition switch nicely and it was 4 am and am not a welder, so it was all bolt right on other than a drilled hole and some cutting to fit to my frame and had to make my own adapter from my lower factory tank mounts to fit the new tank adapter....it may look better when painted black to match the frame.
this set up is for TC models, but i decided to buy it and can do my own mods.

Tail light is stock heritage softail, I'll probably use a side mount tail light or domed/bullet. Signals are from Canadian tire $14 lol. They look and work great.
If you read from the start you can see what I got so far in parts.Cant wait to get rid of the ugly fender as I call it.
