So I ordered pipes from a vendor and they told me their are on backorder which I knew already. I called Samson before I ordered and they claimed they have sped up their turn around times. I have heard stories of people waiting 5 months. I am praying that won't be my story. How long have you waited?

Just got my 2nd email from where I ordered them from about being backordered until the 22nd.....we'll see... based on the price I got I don't mind waiting but not 5 months..

Ordered my 36" chrome cholos Jan 13th, and they came in 9 days. Direct from Samson.

 

They will come , i wouldn't run anything else on my deluxe !

I was told 6-8 weeks as well when I ordered on Jan 13th. 9 days, from placing the order they were at my doorstep.

Make sure to use the HDFORUMS "coupon code" if you order direct! It will save you $99!

 

what size did you order.... it seems that if you order 36" or lower they come fairly quick... seems like the 39" or bigger take longer...

Why wait?

 

I would wait because in my opinion and apparently many others Samson makes the finest looking fishtail.

Nothing against Freedom Performance, I bet they are great but that big stamped star is a deal breaker for me. I also think the slimmer Samson tail looks better.
