Hey Moe, I replied to your pm!

Scoot, love the bike bro! I just bought a fender off eBay to cut and stretch, going for the same look as yours and nameless.

@scootluver

I was on the fence with the 14" or 16" gangsters, since Im also 5'6 with bare bones seat. I ended up with different bars, but will probably get gangsters in the future.

what bags are you running on yours? Your scoot is sick!

Thx for the kudos bro, cost me enough feria to boot. At 5'6 your probably better off with the 14's. U also have to take in consideration the risers. I have the Carlini high roller risers which adds another 1.5 inches to the overall rise. My 14 flying apes with the risers suit me perfect. Also account with the lower seating position of the bare bones. On page 1 of this thread I posted a photo of my buddy on his black deluxe. He is about 6 foot, and he has 16 flying apes with the high roller risers sitting on a bare bones. And the apes are slightly above his shouoders. So you should be good with the 14's bro.

Thanks for all the input everyone. After considering everything, I decided the Flying Apes would be far too wide for my taste. I ordered 12-1/2" Wild1 Apes with +6 cables. I think that style will suit me much better. I'll post pics when I get them on. Thanks again for all the input...it really helped out a lot in deciding which way to go.

The +6 cables worked fine with the 12.5" Chubbies and 1.5" risers. Again, thanks to everyone who provided input, even though I went a different route, all the input was valuable...I'm loving the new apes!

For those of you who have the 1.5" bars, what do you think about the width? Is it comfortable...did it take some getting used to?

I had the same concerns when I purchased bars but it is not bad at all. Actually the width is more comfortable to me.

I bought the 1.5" 14" Gangsters and slapped them on my bike. When I looked at them they looked taller than 14" so I measured and sure enough the ******** that shipped the bars sent 16". My dumb *** was excited to get them on after the 3 week wait and didn't measure them before I installed them so now I'm stuck with 16".

I'm 5'11" and I wished I had the 14" bars. My fingers go numb after about 20 minutes of riding and have to rotate dropping hands to get the blood flowing. Other than that I love the look and the feel. The width is not a problem at all
