Uhhhh...not exactly.

Having a plate that says KICKER (or whatever) isn't exactly the same as walking out to your bike and saying: "Good morning, Darlene!".

We all have our idiosyncrasies. I have no problem naming my bikes, maybe my military back ground flying and naming planes. I don't get the bell thing myself but hey we are all different.

Same here. I'll bet it was different 50 years ago. Now it's just a "thing".

I have a buddy who names all his cars and motorcycles, maybe even his riding lawnmower, I don't know. We also go to the same church, so we hang out with the same groups and he doesn't realize that folks in disussions are clueless to what he means by taking Betty for a ride. LOL
