That's what I did for my pipes. Took out the baffles, cut the pipes, and then re-installed the baffles. Then I wrapped the pipes. I kept the heat shields at the portion of the pipes closest to the engine. The end of the pipes are a little discolored. Not a big deal. Very easy project.

That seat and fender makes it man, looks like you were set for offloading with that height before.

Damn dude! Talk about change!Looks sweet.Cant believe there's daylight between the fender/wheel in that first pic.Did you just redrill/tap for the baffles? Not even sure if I'm gonna put them back in,just curious.

I cut my buddies pipes in a chop saw. I put a rag around the pipe thats in the clamp and just cut nice and slow. They turned out perfect after a little work with a file. We marked them where he wanted them cut on the bike and used painters tape to mark them and cut on the line

you don't need to do anything to the baffles if you reuse them. The bolt goes through the pipe and screws into the baffle. If you cut the pipe, you'll have to pull the baffle out first. You'll have to drill a new hole in the actual pipe, to line up with the pre-existing threaded hole in the baffle. After you cut the pipes and drill a new hole, slide the baffle back in and put in the screw through the new hole and thread it into the same spot in the baffle.

I probably made that sound way more complicated that it really is.
