tanks and tins interchangeable ?

I have a 2011 fatboy and from what i understand the 08 - current tanks and tins are all the same ... can anyone confirm im looking at a 08 set now and would like to make sure of the fit before I buy

They may fit, but make sure that you get the correct tank if you have EFI...
