Default Tie down points when trailering a Fatboy

I'm picking up a Fatboy tomorrow and I've rented a small trailer to haul it home. Previously I've only hauled bikes with exposed rear shocks, so my question is this - where is the best location to attach the tie downs on the rear of a Softail? There is no sissy bar / backrest on the bike, so what is the best method I can use to safely secure the rear of the bike for transport? Thanks in advance...

when I've had to trailer my bike, I loop the strap through the rear wheel twice. no need to cinch it down, you just want to keep it in the center of the trailer. I use the triple trees for the front and ALWAYS use a 6X6 block under the frame.

6x6 block under the frame? Never heard of that - What's it do?

You mean to keep it centered on the trailer?

putting a block under the frame, or the swing arms and cinching the bike down to it, won't allow the bike to bounce on the forks. thus reducing the possibility of blowing them out.

I've never heard that. I've always felt that letting the shocks do the job along with the trailer springs let's it ride with out the jarring. Gonna have to give that some thought - Thanks

when I moved to SOCAL, my local HD dealer showed me that trick. it rode great for 1300 miles and never once came loose or bounced around.
