I have a question about a Kuryakyn Hyper Charger Kit that was given to me. The part number is 9996, says 91up XL fits 91-03 XL w/ c.v. Carb. I have an 05 Night Train, and I know that kit says its for a Sportster. But the box also stated that with would fit with any carb motor up to 89c.i. Can someone please help me out and let me know if it definitely fit or not before I start the install?

 

I'm thinking it wouldn't take long to put the old air cleaner off & see if it fits

 

It wouldn't take too horribly long I don't think. I was just curious and thought I would see if anyone with more knowledge on the matter might be able to give me little insight. I am new to riding and Harleys, riding for just over a year. Bought my Night Train back in November of last year, and there are a few things that I am working on getting changed out on it.
