Nostalgic Engine Guard and Foot Pegs
Anyone out there running the nostalgic engine guard with some foot pegs for cruising? Harley only has 2 styles that will work on this bar and I find them both "ugly as sin". Is there a way to put other brands of pegs on these bars.
The problem is that there is not a single section on this bar that is not curved. Most bars have a bit of a straight section to instal the pegs on.
I bought this engine guard cuz I thought it's curves fit the lines of the Lo perfectly but now it seems those curves may be a bit of a downfall.

I use this on my nostalgic engine guard. They have plenty of adjustment. I mounted them on the engine guard mid point of the curve. I have no problems.
Use the peg of your choice.

Not the nostalgic bars, but when I first got the pegs I tried mounting them further up to where the bend on the bars are, and had no problem, I'm 5'6. The pegs are HD , has rubber and the bar and shield on the middle rubber strip.

Harley, I think has them but I know I got this from them even if its aftermarket. This has highway pegs that are a 3 piece bar that runs across the bottom front of the bike and the pegs come up on the outside of the running boards. My reciept says
part number 41-9682
Cruise arm mk
IV-ST-SHORT.
What all that means I have no clue! IMHO that would look much more cleaner on the front of your bike and the lines.
