Default Fat Boy front fender options besides Slim, Heritage and none?

Hey forum, has anyone installed a wrapped style fender on their FB with the stock wheel? I've seen that KlockWerks sells a few different styles ($$$), and HD has the Street Stalker, but google search isn't very helpful but brings back some wild mods and bigger wheels. I was considering a change, one way or the other (Slim to Heritage) and ruled out the Slim fender after trying one on for size. The stock fender is starting to grow on me, but thought I'd pose the question here to see if any members have done a wrapped fender while keeping the stock size wheel, and not modding the rear fender either. The pics thread had mostly Heritage style fender changes, and there's so many pages to click through...
Slim Fender, something about it doesn't quite work on my bike even though I have since installed a chrome front end. Maybe the mini apes or the fuller rear fender sets it off:

That isn't stock is it? It looks a lot shorter than my Fatboy fender.

No, that's not the stock fender. Those are pics with a Softail Slim fender installed.

On my older softail, I took an FLH fender an removed the mounting tabs from it then welded up the rivet holes, lined it up so it set nice an low on stock FB wheel, drilled mounting holes then painted it to match the rest of bike, like it a lot better than stock FB fender! This is the best pic I could find of it?

Smile

I also installed a heritage fender but with the trim pieces for variety of reasons. I just removed the heritage name plate and I agree with you, it looks pretty good.

I was reading your previous post and you mentioned about something was off... to me it's the handlebar riser being too tall and the mini-apes being too short. But that is just me.
