Default stinkin badges

cant get enough curve on em to keep em from lift off. tried twice. just too much tension



now with bare tank. what do you guys think. look too plane jane bare? cant decide and don't like stock badge

They are pot metal or aluminum and like I said I can only tweek em so much or they'll kink.


ya like the white trim too and thinkin of white wires but waitin for my bare bones black trimed lower in white w red piping and red belair stitch which I think is going to pull in the red wires we'll see.

Have you tried moving them slightly to a less curved area on the tank?

Like jcsshane mentioned, the tank badge is too far forward. It is onto the curved area of the tank. That is the problem. Bring it back to the flat portion of the tank.

Sure did but too far back where'd work looked bad. But thx for the suggestion !

I put those on my Shovel and they were a PITA! I never could get them to sit right. The backing plate screws were tiny, I dropped one because of my sausage fingers and it took me 15 minutes to find it.
