I'm thinking that if I keep my '08 Crossbones I'd like to have it painted in the olive pearl color available that year, it's matte black right now. Any owners of this color out there? Feedback on it? I've only seen pictures, none in real life.

I had a 07 Springer Classic in the two tone Olive Pearl and Black combination. Very pretty in the bright sun. By far more appealing than the Chopper Blue and Silver one I have now. As you mentioned it's not something that is seen often and would go nicely with the black parts on a Crossbones. As to finding one that you can see in person, I would suggest a large rally or watch Ebay/Craigs List in your area and perhaps one will be found to see in person.

 

As an owner of an original 08 Olive Pearl Crossbones, I would highly recommend against it, as it will take too much of your time answering questions about how awesome of a color your bike is...lol.
When I originally saw the color online when it came out, it looked kind of a brown and gross, but when I saw it in person I was in love. There is no other color I'd paint my Crossbones, period.

 

I have the Olive Pearl-Vivid Black combo on my 07 Deluxe and love it.
