Softbrakes Tag Relocater & Custom Dynamics LED Plate Frame
Installed Softbrakes tag relocater and tombstone fixture. I haven't got around to adding a lighted frame to the tag yet. Ordered the LED frame from Custom Dynamics, although it hasn't arrived yet. I'm thinking just cut a notch in the bottom of the tombstone for the wiring.
Any other thoughts on this?

If I recall correctly you only need to notch the LP backing plate for the wires. I know I didn't have to modify the tombstone at all...
EDIT:
I just looked at mine, I ran the LP frame wires through the hole in the fender for the right turn signal wires...

Very happy with both Custom Dynamics and Softbrake parts.

That's how I did mine as well. Actually ran the wire across to the left side hole to build in some slack for easier removal of the plate frame and plate. Ran wire into the back of the tombstone housing along one of turn signal wires iirc. I did have to notch the back plate to make room for the wire.

I'm not overly impressed with the LED plate frame. Had to file my tag down to fit and cut a small notch in it to fit around the frames pig tail. I can see with the wiring compressed against the back plate/tag where a future problem going to ground may be an issue. I will be fusing the LED inside the tombstone to prevent losing that circuit should this issue ever arise.
All in all, for the money an inexpensive way to light the tag up.
