Looking to put these on my Fat Boy Lo...any thoughts?

I have already installed the H-D Heavy Breather.

It'll be loud, no doubt. I opted for the Big Shots, features a power chamber for performance of a 2 into 1. Yes, they are loud too. Guess it depends on what kind of sound you're looking for.

I have em on my bike. I like the way they look personally. They are loud pipes though...of course I'm running them without baffles lol.

They are loud even with quiet baffles installed.
On a long ride my Wife wears ear plugs.

Yep, I agree with all the other posters, they are loud, but I like the shiny ones.

My wife has them on her Softail Trike. I installed the quiet baffles. Not as loud and better performance than the reg baffles.

Everyone's got their preferences. I always found the fatboys look better with long shots. They compliment the cruiser look vs an aggressive short pipe. I will suggest big shots over the short from personal experience. Shorts to me are actually louder and more tinny even with baffles.
