Fork rebuild questions for my 06 Night Train
Have a leak on my forks. So I'm going to rebuild the fork while I got it apart.
Questions. What size is tube cap nut on triple tree? Should I replace oil seal and fork tube plug o ring on top? I got new dust covers, retaining ring, oil seal, seal spacer and lower slide bushings. Also have the SE Heavy fork oil. This is my first time doing this. I got the manual and have worked on my bikes before. Just making sure I'm not missing anything or any ways that everyone has found that make the job easier.
Thanks.

The capnut is 1 3/8". Available here:

And the seal installer unless you can make one:https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...i76mLQ8g_8kYeQ
You may not like the heavy fork oil. I went with Harley "E."
Replace all the seals you can. The kits are not expensive, even from Harley. It is not as complicated as it seems.
