I love mine, the black doesn't ware to the bare metal, 30% more stopping power for my 23er, long lasting, awesome warranties and excellent customer service. They are a little expensive but you get what you pay for in my opinion but to each his own.

Just to be clear, these Wilwoods are not considered floating type rotors correct ?

I wanted floating rotors so I went with EBC rotors/pads. Here's a pic of mine.

thanks,

T.

I would agree 1000% with your statement you get what you pay for when it comes to these bundles of money sucking joy's we love soo much.

Those rotors look sick, great choice. Great job on all the accent pieces in red! Before I installed my black rims I was going to change out my stock orange powder coated rotors for those same ones. I was afraid the stock pattern would look like crap, but after I put the 21" on I thought the orange was a great accent.

Update. I went on a 77 mile ride to test the new brakes. As expected the black on the contact area is mostly worn off. Allowed brakes to cool then cleaned the rotors with a shop rag soaked in brake parts cleaner and then rinsed with water as per Wilwood instructions. Still a slight haze of black and a little streaking where coating wore off at different levels. Will take another ride this evening. The Wilwood rotor EBC pad combo performs much better and looks better than stock IMO.
