Default air cover mod

put on the new pipes and now the air cover won't go on. If I trimmed the cove it would fit and open up the box for more air.
Any one ever do this

Probably, but just do it and make it work, or buy a different one that will. Remember: modifying stock parts is another way of making it your own

What kind of pipes did you put on that bike that your AC cover won't fit? Those things must be pretty radical. What kind of bike? Pics?

Bassani radial curves, they sound assume. Just need to take the bottom of the air cover and trim it some or buy a new setup.

Get one of the snorkel/spike intakes. That will give you the clearance you need.
