Default New Seat - Corbin Ride in Service

I've been eyeing A Corbin seat for my softail deluxe for several years now. I wanted to get something that kept the nostalgic look of the deluxe. Now that I am living in the Bay Area I decided to take advantage of the 10% Hollister rally discount and spend my day at the factory getting a seat made while I waited.

I was pretty happy with the process, first you are fitted with the foam and can make any adjustments to suit your riding style, then you can choose the leather and design. There is quite a bit to choose from but I just kept it simple.

It's pretty cool you are free to roam the shop and check on the progress of your seat. It's not cheap, but it is a handmade, custom leather made in America seat.

Just a few pics from the fitment, upholstery, and ride home. A couple of hours in the saddle and I can say it is a huge improvement over stock.

MG,

Not to get sideways in your thread, bro, but what size bars are on your bike? Did you lower the bike too? The way you have it set up is pretty nice; the seat too by the way. Corbin is on my list of things to get for my Heritage.

no worries man, bars are 12.5 wild 1s, haven't lowered the bike, stock height from the factory.

I've been eyeing the Corbin since I bought the bike in 06, not cheap, but for a custom made seat while you wait, it's quality. I know people love or hate the seats, it's definitely not a soft seat, but I found that my stock seat would compress and my feel so great, Corbin's are like a horse saddle, I don't think you can beat leather for looks either, it should develop a nice patina overtime.
