Default Help identify this fairing if you can...

My dad purchased this 2012 Fat Boy a few weeks ago and we're not having any luck identifying the make of the batwing fairing that came with it. What's throwing us off is that the windshield attaches to the mounting bracket behind the fairing rather than top of the fairing and I've never seen another one like it. If you can check out the pictures and let me know if anything jumps out that would help in identifying the manufacturer, that would be great. Thanks!

Impossible to tell for sure from your pics, since you really didn't show the inside or brackets at all...but I would guess that it is a shovelhead fairing.

I could be wrong but, it looks just like the stock fairing on my 86 dresser. Believe it is from 86 on earlier. Hope that helped

Sorry about the pictures, guys. They're the best I have right now. I'll try to snap a few of the brackets.

Was the fairing on your '86 detachable? This one has 4 docking points on the front end and basically pulls forward and up to be removed.

Not to be a smart ***, but what do you need to know the make of the fairing for? Are you looking to replace the windshield portion or some other part of it? Or is t merely curiosity?

Killer looking bike! I would love some info on the fairing AND the hard bags!! I can't seem to find a set of hard bags that look good for fatboys.
