Man, I hate you guys. The more I see these RK bags on softails the more i know thats where I'm gonna end up. I've got so use to having the storage space, I just can't be without it now. Thanks a whole heap. ha ha.

Is there a standard mount for the softail to match it up with the bags??

Shimmed the brackets and now I think they are much better

They look like they are getting better. Still a little tipped according to the pic. When I installed my bags, I couldn't use the mounting hardware(bolts)that the kit came with. I went down to my local Ace Hardware and got some different size chrome bolt spacers and proper size bolts. I installed the spacers between the part that goes in the top of the bag and the bracket that bolts to the fender. Let me know if you want some pics. Either way your ride is looking good!

Post up some pics of the shims you used I just installed cycle visions bagger tail and I have no clearance between the lids and seat rail

Bike is leaned over on the stand. It's not sitting upright. I just straightened the front wheel and the edited the picture to get it straight as possible. Look at the turn signals. Appearantly they are off too. Lol

In this picture the gap between the bag and the pipe looks much bigger on the left side
