08 Rocker C, Deal or no deal.
I am a bagger guy as you can see in my signature but have the opportunity to pick this Rocker up from a friend of my wife's. I was not looking for another bike but it sounds like she could use the money and does not ride it. Its an 08, 5700 miles, it has stage one, HD street slammer bars, edge cut goodies, V&H big radius pipes, and all the rear end work (chopped fender, led brake light, side mount plate). She was trying to get 14500 for it and I told her she was high on the price. I told her, to me, it was worth 11k. She told me that was too low but sent me a message yesterday and told me she would take 11k. My question, is this a good deal, great deal, or average deal. Again, I am a bagger guy but I would not mind having another toy in the garage.

Bikes NEVER make sense financially. You probably aren't going to make much off this for profit. But if you're looking for a fun bike as another ride, I think it's a decent deal.
You are right that it's in the eye of the beholder. If you like it, buy it at that price. I don't think it's a bad price at all with all the work done to it and it's been babied and probably taken care of so that's got a lot of value to the person who knows the history of the bike like yourself.

Thanks for the input guys. I am thinking I may pass on it. I love my bagger, while I do think the rocker is bad *** my money is probably better spent finishing my road glide how I want it. It also sounds to me that 11k is not a smoking deal like I originally thought. Guess I will sleep on it and see what tomorrow brings. Decisions decisions.
