i don't want a danny gray or other seat, unless it still functions like stock. i'm experimenting with adding this to my springer. i want the trick seat function (why? just because i like it) but have the main seat be more comfortable.

i'm about average height, so having it end up a little taller won't bother me (hopefully it wouldn't end up all mis-shapen looking). i just can't find anything where someone modded the stock seat to have an idea of what might be possible.

i've been searching around but haven't found anything on it. i experimented with this idea on a smaller bike i just ride around the city, so the thin padding isn't much of a problem, but while i'm still considering my springer a mainly city bike, i'd like to add more distance potential this time. one seat i picked up has an extra 1/2" or so of padding added. i rode it around most of the weekend, but it makes minimal difference at best.


so has anyone stuck with the stock seat and tried to improve it? thanks.

 

Have you checked to see if the Rocker seat will fit on your Springer? Or is this a Rocker with a springer front end?

 

i have the front section (main seat and two uprights) on already. i just need to do some grinding and/or milling to get the distance bettween them just right. as stated, i was riding around on it this weekend.
