Default Fatboy bagger build

I bought my first bike ever in 2013. It is a 2013 fatboy lo. I have installed a true dual exhaust and I really like the looks of a stretched and extended fiberglass bags and fender. But I'm not finding alot of info and not alot of help from the manufacturers that build this stuff. Any help would be appreciated if someone has done this.

Cyclevisions makes the bag mounts. And you can get pretty much any set of bags off of eBay that will work. Hope that helps! Also, you will have to relocate your rear turn signals.

I see the mounts on line but the fenders and bags are mostly plastic and fender overlays. I looked at bad-dad, Milwaukee baggers, and so on. Doesn't anyone sell a kit with everything?

No one makes a whole kit. You have to buy the mounts, then buy the bags you want. Any bags will work with the mounts. They all have the same rail mount. Personally, I used a pair of DNA 4" stretched abs bags, and they fit perfectly.

Default Off ebay

I just finished getting hard bags installed on my heritage. I got the mounting brackets and bags off ebay. It took a little work to get it to fit correctly. I purchased a cheaper bracket off eBay. The only thing I have left to do is install a new light bar with turn signals. Ifor I was to do it again the higher price of the cycle vision brackets would be worth the price.

Dansax
It was my 1st bike. I didn't really know what I wanted. I just walked into dealer and saw my bike. I couldn't drive it home due to no permit/license.

Check out the Fat Boy Lo thread and use the "search this thread" in the top right corner for your questions: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...lo-owners.html There have been a few folks that have already been down that road.

Before I spent the kind of money it takes to do a project like this I would check to see how much of a hit you would take trading your bike in. It may be the cheaper option in the long run. Remember the price of the parts is just the starting point, it's all the crap you have to buy to make the parts work that bleeds your wallet dry.

Don't want to discourage you, because I've seen some really good looking Softails done this way.
