Ok so just off phone w HD buddy whp knows all. It's just a 96 sleeve bored to 110, simple as that. Super thin walls we can assume most builders would agree. I'm wondering how reliable this could be in maxed out tq/hp situation? Maybe a high volume oil pump and upgraded piston cooling jets would add reliability? Either way, who's going to be the guinea pig?

CVO 110 cyl are different and CVO cases are larger so 113 on a CVO 110 sleeve is not as thin as the 96/103 - 110 bore. The only reason the new 110 barrel is safe in a 96/103 case is the new steel construction.

I believe what HD is offering here is a factory upgrade that has a warranty, and EPA blessing.
You should be able to go to the aftermarket and get something that would perform even better, but would not be street legal or have a factory warranty.
Nice to have choices.
Expect there will be a bit more heat with this upgrade, but predict it will be a smooth running, strong pulling motor.
