Default just upgraded to a 2012 blackline!

i did some light googling with not much luck. Id like to get some wild1 narrow apes. is there anyway to keep the speedo where its at and not have big risers?
i was thinking to lift the speedo 2 inches and mill down some risers.

todd cycles makes a top triple tree that will allow you to use standard risers.

I always say this, I don't get why this wasn't a popular model, it's such a great starting point for a cool build. If put more thought into it I would of bought one of these instead of the night train

Why not move the speedo elsewhere, or change the speedo out of for something smaller to minimise that clutter between the bars?

Sweet, I'm interested to see the change.

I know it's probably not in your interest, but a shorter more trimmed rear fender, along with a on the frame seat pan and smaller bobber style tank, in my opinion would look ****. Blacklines with the skinny rear wheel, the way the engines dressed up and that stance, perfect for that chop and bob look. But do whatever you like man as its your bike and you're the one that has to enjoy it. Be sure to post pics when it's all done

Absolutely right. But im actually gonna take off the subframe/fender and do a thin rolled fender and struts with a gator skin copper blackish color. Possiby a sportster 48 tank later on down the road. For exhaust im not sure what i want to do. I like short exhaust but im sick of loud loud loudness haha. I want to hear a few bikes with shortshots, big radius, and sweepers. Or i may make my own pipes

you can make a sportster relocation kit work for the speedo and then use short risers and wide base bars.

you can cut your favorite brand of bar and weld them on the same way the stock bars mount.
