I was not a big fan of feeling like a kite while doing 70 mph down the freeway so I bought the Memphis Shades Fats for my bike. The idea was around town I'd take it off and put it on for longer trips.

I went with the 13" model. I'm 5'7" on a good day and with the shield at its highest adjustment I syill get wind in the face which I like, nothing in the chest. At its lowest setting there is significant buffeting if the shield is angled all the way back. If I stand it up (tilted forward) it's not too bad, but tilted forward and at the higher setting it is perfect up to about 80 mph... Haven't taken it any higher than that.

 

Very nice. I just ordered a detachable shield for my new 2015 Fatboy. Should be about like yours. Like you, I am 5'7" - 5'8" depending on the day, grin.
