Default No mo bobber seat

After an 800 mile weekend in April and 250 + weekends back to back my rear has had it! Loved the look but just hated the ride. Had my old rsd vintage seat that I had reworked last year laying here so I had it recovered. Bad pic but I think it turned out ok...

I like both looks. You did good. At least you didn't go and put one of those massive lazy-boy seats on it. I hate it when a great looking bike has a huge 8" thick lump sitting on top.

My hardware arrives tomorrow so I can install my spring seat. It was really comfortable on my Dyna, but I had a 1" gel and memory foam pad built into it when I had it made. It's also 13" x 15", which to me seems to make a bobber seat a better perch.

Thanks, the one big problem with the rsd 200 conversion is the lack of seats..we are limited to the bobber (which he know longer makes) or what I have on, the stock configuration of it sucks!!! Other than having one made you have to have them reworked. I'm going to have my seat guy make a two up soon. And I agree more padding gives you more of a footprint I was sliding off the back of mine

Mine has a slight flip at the back. Here it is on the Dyna I had.

DynaJ- how do you like the stf floorboards? They decently grippy or do your feet slide around?

Man, the bike looks great with either seat. What front wheel and tire are you running?

nothing wrong with a comfy seat, not saying it needs to look like a couch, but I average 10k a year. I want to enjoy my ride, looking cool for other people doesn't make my back side feel any better

Slv your old dyna looked really good bro. That seat fit it perfect.

Glenn B The floor boards are actually pretty sticky, my feet stay put at high speeds which surprised me! LOL
