Question 2012 fat boy lo solids to spokes help

i really like the spoke wheel and want to do this to my fat boy lo

i know stock its 17x3.5 fronts and 17x6 rears

are there any stock replacements available from other models?

thank you

i searched and only found 16 inch replacements for the older model fat boys

The rear rim off a crossbones is 17x6 spoked and would be a direct replacement for you Lo but it's like Hen's teeth..almost impossible to find.
I've read people switching the front wheel from a Dyna to a softail (of the same year with the 25mm bearings) but they are either 19" or 21" from what I've seen.
I would bet a front wheel from a Slim would fit right in up front? Some of the wheel guys here could confirm. The slim and crossbones wheel hoop look almost the same too.

Another option would be a custom wheel shop cutting holes or slots in your existing. Wheels aluminum or steel/chrome? That would be a deciding factor too.

I saw a post where someone did this. I prefer the spoke wheels tho.
