.....was off the grid for a day. But...interesting concept. I think that would be cool, but way above my budget and skill set. When thinking out modifications to my FLSS, my thought has been to try and balance WLA genetic traits with current genetics traits. So old school vibe with current features. Much like what was done with the Camaro and Challenger. But rather than feel like I'm riding in a covered wagon, I'm in a plush rocket ship. Old school rides have their place for sure, but nothing compares to what is being produced today (personal thought here, not fact).

On a side note, what others are producing on this site is poetic.

I'm mixed on the tires as well. It works for me in a kinda sorta way. My goal in modifications is to try and keep the bike with smooth lines. A sense of flow. Those tires may roughen it up a bit too much for me. I'd have to see how they look in person and how they handle on the road. If noise was made by them, my guess is the V&H exhaust would cover it up. Even with the "quiet" baffles.

Either way, I like the vibe that bike gives off. Very raw. Simple.

I call mine Retro-Modern (and I have a FLS, not FLSS)

I enjoy it, its fun.

Not sure if this is old news, but I received a notice today. Effects more models than just the 2016 FLSS.

If your engine bogs down or does not start, it is exhibiting the recall condition. This includes if it creeps forward when the clutch is engaged. Truck or trailer to the dealer for repair. If not exhibiting the condition, the recall repair still is required.

Possible defect which relates to the hydraulic clutch system. If the bike has been parked for an extended period, it may fail to disengage the clutch. What to do until you get it fixed;

Ensure that the bike has clear space in front of it.
Place the bike in 1st gear.
Turn ignition switch to the on position.
Place the Run/Off switch in the "Run" position and engage both brakes.
Squeeze the clutch lever all the way to the grip and hold.
Engage the starter by pushing the start button.

Contact your dealer to confirm and make an appointment to repair.
