Default Auxiliary Turn Signal/Running Light Module

I put one of these on my 2006 Fatboy about 5 years ago. The other day I noticed I had no turn signal or brake light in the left hand side.

I removed the lens and the bulb and the socket looked kind of burnt. The other side looked good.

I cleaned the socket out and put some dielectric grease on the bulb. Same thing.

Took the module out a connected it back up like stock. Turn signal works.

Has anyone bought one of these modules and have it go bad?

There may be a broken wire going to/from your module. Hook it back up and start wiggling things, see if the lamp goes out.

Tough call, before you trash it use an electrical contact cleaner on the connectors. They could have just oxidized.
