You guys are too kind but thanks!! I do love it so.

Smokieheritage, if I had to say my favorite two mods are 1. my manual idle control so I can idle it down to sound like a Harley, and 2. my Stebel horn, its a safety issue.

If you're interested I can post up links to my threads.

Good looking trunk, flows great with the Heritage and yes I'd leave one of them on my bike all the time riding two up. I also have the Q-Dis sissy bar and I sometimes remove it and put on my custom made bib for Solo riding.

Thanks Guys! It finally quit raining here and was able to ride a bit. I'm already liking the trunk more all the time. Not having to dig into a saddlebag is a plus. I've got the taller, slim style Mustang backrest coming in soon. I'll post a pic when I get it on.

Yea Joe, I'd like to see that manual idle control. My bike has a smooth bore Mikuni on it. So I do have a **** that I can get to down on the side with a little fanagling. I've probably got mine idling too low which I know isn't good. But, me like the sound pretty well. I don't let it idle too low for very long.

Anyone in the future that wants to get something from Leather Pros at a bit better pricing can contact Tri County Harley-Davidson in Fairfield OH Ph. 513-874-0145. Rebecca is the mail order person.

Hope that was ok to post. I got that info from a previous post on this forum so I guess still my bad if it aint ok. Just trying to help my fellow HD bros.:

Here you go smoky. But this idle control mod is for fuel injected only so it won't work on your bike.

If your oil pressure light isn't coming on you're probably ok...not sure how low you have it however!

Thanks for the vid Joe. Mine is probably idling about the speed your is. I've always dug the hollow fishtail sound and the look too. They've really got it from my perspective.

My carbureted bike sounds pretty cool as well.

My buddy's carb'd 03 was my inspiration..it idles low and sounds great and I didn't like how my bike idled at 1100. So I fixed it!

I like the look. If you are going to have a trunk bag, get the big one. You will use the space.

I just installed a fringed trunk on my heritage springer. I love it, I use my bike for grocery shopping now. I like any excuse to take my scooter.

Nice trunk..... You should dye the trim to black....

Hey Guys, I sent back the wide Mustang p/n 79057 sissy bar pad and got the
75314 bracket style 7" wide x 12.5" pad. I just got it mounted and thought it turned out looking pretty spiff. I was even able to hide the front mounting strap for the trunk in behind the pad.

Just thought I would post a pic or 2 of the updated bar, pad, and trunk install.

And yea, I like that lower idle grumble.
