Yes copper would look great with the black and green. It is those little things that keep you from ever being done. Yet the way it sits right now, it is a great looking bike.
Copper lines is an option. The WLA seat has copper rivets on it as well. I think I have a tubing bender. I'll have to check the lines though and make sure there is no special "ends" that I can't create with a common flare tool
Thanks guys, this is stage 1 of the windshield apron. WLAs that used shields always had a piece of heavy OD cotton duck material under the shield. The top is now fitted and snapped on. Now I need to fit the bottom around the lights and take the slack outa the canvas so it lays flat . Going good so far. The soft lowers are next after this is done and the material will come from the same piece with brass snaps. Brass was big then. Those snaps are all brass and are a bit shiny now but they will darken with age and I'll hurry the process chemically.
as i'm finding with the gas caps, harley make a digital flush mount in black, i've only seen one other but it's the wrinkle black and the left side is a dummy cap.. looking for a set with the dummy cap but not in wrinkle black. they have chrome, but that doesn't go with the look of my bike
That's exactly why I painted mine. The fuel gauge was a bit tricky to take off to paint since you gotta remove the electrical connector to pull it outa the tank hole. Not all that hard though. The flush mount black ones are WAY too modern for this bike IMHO>
The canvas front on the screen looks the business, nice work.
Lowers in canvas duck will indeed add a unique touch to a useful addition if you ride in the winter.
Your work helps to inspire others, thanks.
