DK do you have anything that would fit my 2016 FLSS.
Thanks

The cheapest possible fishtail setup is to get a used true dual head pipe from a Heritage Springer, off of ebay and a set of fishtail slip-on tail pipes. Otherwise, your gonna pay north of five hundred bucks for a complete system like the Samson. On my Fat Boy I opted for the Cholo Samsons:

On my Road King, Ebay tail pipes:

Are you looking for fishtail exhaust, some other exhaust, or to optimize your existing exhaust?

We have all 3 of the above, just need to know what you're looking for.

If it is the Fishtails, the link below, plus some TTI's will work.

Yes. I'm thinking about fishtails. I have had the bike a couple months and it is still bone stock. I have not seen any Slim's with fishtails but I think it's a look I would like. Also thinking a full crome system on a fully blacked out bike might look good. Than again I might be crazy. Any opinions are welcome. Thanks

IMHO.......... Chrome is NEVER the wrong choice. But that's just me.

But then again, I have watched countless examples, on this very forum, of members taking .99c spray bombs of paint to $15K motorcycles and think they "upgraded" the cool factor.

Cool. That is Devin's (the "D" in DK) look that he goes for, a lot of black with some chrome...really makes them both pop.

Samson 39" Cholo's. Agree with all that's been said in terms of advantages/disadvantages. Does anybody know if V&H' TD softail headers are compatible with Samson 39" mufflers? I would really have liked not to have had to use Samson's shift linkage.

Good question! I've talked to V&H several times, they cannot say. I have not been able to find anyone who's done it. I also cannot find anyone who's tried and had a problem.

Looking at the instructions for both, it appears the header on the Samson and the V&H end at a bit of a different spot...so that may interfere with support bracket for the slip-ons.

The other downside is that V&H does not sell their True Dual headers separately, they only come with the slip-ons.

btw, very cool ride you have!

Default Sampsons!

Order the new Sampsons because they have replaceable tails. you will scrape, even with the best air ride, and after a while you can just bolt on new ends and voila! new pipes! Didn't see ay other set that did that. Oh yeah, what's the point of QUIET fishtails!? Sampsons are mega-loud! I have the 39's with no baffles.
