i am trying to order V&H air intake for 2016 fatboy however JP Cycle doesnt show any V&H air intake which fits my bike

As per HD, 2015 road king air intake would fit 2016 softail model. shall i order air intake for 2015 road king to fit my bike ?

Is your bike throttle by wire? If so, you are probably on the right track. I'd call V&H or send an email to confirm.

JP Cycles is bad about adding new model applicability. Many of the suppliers don't update their stuff until February or March. If your throttle is cable operated, it's likely a 2015 part will fit your bike perfectly.

i see in your signature that you have 2016 fatboy S, did you upgraded the intake ? and if yes then to which one ? i just need a naked one since i really like the air cover in 2016.

 

14-15 Touring model intakes are what you're going to want to shop. I bought an RSD intake that's made for the touring bikes and it went on my 2016 Fat Boy Lo with no issues.

I thought it was wired, but couldn't remember. Mother has your answers. If you like the cover and just want the intake, the FM option is a good one. DK Customs also has a similar intake at a great price.

No, I didn't upgrade the intake because the S series comes with a high capacity intake. I only replaced the paper filter with a K&N and added a more classic looking cover to go with the bike's theme.
