Cool 2010 fatboy black rear fender struts

i have the 2010 fatboy lo. i want to replace the black rear fender struts how hard to replace them or should have the dealer do them. the black struts are all strached up thank you people

I'm assuming you mean the strut covers as the struts themselves are hidden underneath, and I can't see how they would get scratched.

Either way, it's not hard at all, provided you've got the right torx bit, and a torque wrench to put the new ones back on again. The trickiest bit might be the removal and reinstallation of the turn signals. I can't remember if you can thread the plug back through the fender holes or if you will need to cut and resplice the wires to move them onto the new strut covers.

good morning yes they are the black rear fender strut covers they got strached up putting on my back rest time to time one thing the black chrome i called it really shows marks thanks again
