Saturday Afternoon Putt
It was 68*, sunny and windy yesterday! Huge improvement over recent weather we've been having.
Went for a 150 mile putt. Rode a bunch of previously un-ridden (by us) curvy back roads.
There is an antique shop in Hernando that we've passed 100 times and never stopped.
Yesterday we stopped-
Picked up a couple of things for Mary's dad and rode some more.
Perfect day!

I still can't believe I chose this winter to put my bike in storage at the dealer for the first time.
It was going in for its 15K service so I told them to just keep it.
Meanwhile, temps have been near 50 for almost this whole time except for maybe two weeks of cold and snow.
Hell, it was near 60 here yesterday, and all I saw was bikes going past the house all day...

Lucky to live in southern Arizona
My riding buddy and I did our usually Sunday morning ride of about 150 miles. Temps were in the low 50's when we left at 9 but up the 70's by the time we came home around 2. We ride several times a week (yes we are retired... and loving it), once or twice with the local bike club for a group ride and then a couple more times with just 2 or 3 of us.
About the only problem this time of year is the potential for black ice so we usually don't leave until after 9 and never if it has been seriously cold the night before. I live about 25 miles north of Tucson at 3,300' and there are numerous two lane asphalt highways close at hand to explore. We typically pick one of the many small mining towns riding 50 to 100 miles to arrive, have breakfast and return home.
It gets a little toasty here in the summer but hey, it's a dry heat (much like a Pizza oven).
