Default Total Bummer, Thanks Carlini(Need Suggestions)

Just got off the phone with a tech staff member at Carlini Designs regarding a question I had about their Gangster apes. My dilemma is this...I'm running Exiles 1 1/4" drag bars on 6" risers with a Grip Ace and Exile internal throttle. Also, I am running Jay brake controls. All this means I have no visible switches or anything mounted to the bars. There is only a clutch lever and cable and brake lever and brake line. I asked him if there was any way they could make me a set of 16" Gangster apes to where the 1 1/4" doesn't step down until it meets the 1" for the grips...he said unfortunately they are made on an assembly line and they aren't able to do this-which blows because I was dead set on the gangster apes. Anyone have any suggestions? This is what I'm running now...

I would also suggest BR. They make a lot of bars to order. It will take some time to get them, but they will be made how you want them.

I appreciate the feedback fellas...I looked them up. Pricey but it would be worth it to me not to have to run Harley switch housings on the bars.

Yeh go BR, that's sound advice. Assembly line stuff (e.g farmed out overseas usually) has it's limits for sure.

If you click on the smaller picture it will blow up. I don't know how well you can see the bars. I have nothing visible. I switched over to a hydraulic clutch.

EDIT: I think I misunderstood your question or comment, sorry!

It's all good man. Your bike looks awesome, I just don't want to have to run switch housings or I would get the Gangster apes. I literally have no visual switch whatsoever on the bars

If you are going to go with BR don't be quick to break your setup down. You might get your bars by June, if you're lucky.

I have heard they weren't lightning fast due to building to the customers specs. Also, the PC price is pretty steep. I have a buddy that does awesome work here in central Louisiana that I need to get a pile of stuff to.
