Soooooo..... he tells me he found some plastic "Wings" that mount on Highway Bars and function as wind diverters, lessening the Wind Helmet Buffeting he had experienced. Anyone know anything about these and or different versions ,quality etc.comments??
Question 2 , on my '03 Heritage I would like to find a set of reasonably prices Chrome Crash Bars / Safety Bars to mount on rear of bike,. I have seen a couple sets but not sure where to find them at a reasonable cost??
I appreciate your comments ,thoughts!!

The fork mounted wind deflectors work well in cold weather, but they also block air to the engine, so in warm weather they need to be removed so the air cooled engine gets enough air.

Another option to reduce/eliminate buffeting is a Tank Lift. This will reduce the amount of air coming over the top of the tank, it also pushes more air over the engine, helping it run cooler.

+1 on the fangs.
Wouldn't ride without them.

As for the engine guards; I install them at the start of winter and leave them on until the start of spring.
I believed the instructions say to not use them when the temp is above 50 degrees.

I have the fangs and the crash guard cover. The combo works great.
