Default torque on deka battery terminals

I just got my new deka battery and I need to know if anyone knows what the torque specs are for the terminal bolts for this battery. I called the company and they first gave me 100 to 120 in/lbs then the said 70/90 in/lbs. The harley specs are 60 to 72 in/lbs but I was wondering if anyone has the correct torque for this battery (ETX20L).

THANKS
FLIPPER

101.245 in/lbs is how tight I get them.
Yes I'm being sarcastic.

Just tighten them tight and don't worry about the torque value.

For 38 years I have just snugged them down. Never a problem. Only time I worry about torque is on critical fasteners. Don't over think it.

Since they're not considered a "critical fastener" just tighten them until they're very snug and go on about your business.

If you're going to use a torque spec, I'd use the lowest one suggested, and also put a little blue Loctite on the threads. They can and do vibrate loose.

I tighten them by hand and then I checked the torque and it is right at about 50 to 60in/lbs. So you guys were right. A nice hand tighten (not too much)and GTG.

Thanks everyone!!!

I don't use torque wrenches for exhaust. Just go by feel
