Should I go to white walls on my Heritage

I'm not sure. 07 was kind of an odd duck year from what I can tell. I would have the dealer look it up for you and see if fitment is the same. Some websites will say wheels fit 2000-2006 and then 2008-current. But then other websites will say 2000-2006 and 2007-current. I think they went to the 25mm bearing in 07 but not certain.

I recently completed a conversion with 2015 Softail wheels (tubeless smoothies) for use on a 2006 with 3/4" axles. The bearing diameters are the same, but the 25mm late model bearings are narrower than the 3/4" so it's more than just a simple bearing swap. Some of 'em had a 1" axle, but I don't what year or model, or what the width of the 1" bearing is.
On the late model wheels I have, it took a bit of machine work to make the back hub work. Not only making the bearing bores deeper so could use 3/4" axles, but narrowing the hub on the drive pulley side by a little over 3/8". Easy for me as I have a well equipped garage.
On the front, I just made bushings to make the 25mm bearing work with the 3/4" axle.
I know certain places sell adapter bushings to use 1" bearings on a 3/4" axle, so that might be an option
