How can you justify reusing a caliper with 50% of the tread gone from the bleeder? How do you know it will not blow out next time you really have to jam the brakes. However, that said, years ago, I had a bleeder snap off flush but the hole was still plugged on an antique . I simple rolled the caliper up with a shim were the rotor went so the piston would not come out and so the brake line was at the high point. I bled with the banjo hose fitting.
They have repair kits for this if there is room.

No the thread on the bleeder is fine. The nut that u tighten is the one that is rounded off a bit.

I had "speed bleeders" in my V rod...make bleeding faster an easier an they don't round since you don't need to open them up nearly as much to bleed the brakes.
