Default Fat Boy seat

Hi- anybody have a sundowner seat (or any non stock seat)on their fat boy? I am thinking about replacing my stock seat on my 2016 fat boy - long rides are hurting my tail bone. I had a sundowner on my sportster and it was great. I'm looking for comfy suggestions for the fat boy. Thanks

I've gone with Ultimate, the rider's seat and backrest and passenger seat. It's very comfortable but I will say around the hour and a half mark my tailbone starts up again. However I will take that over the stock seat where it was hurting after 20 minutes. My tailbone hurts in a movie around 90 minutes too so I know there's not much more I can really do for it.

A five minute break for gas or just to stand up and I can do another 90 minutes.

I also have the Ultimate Backrest Seat for my Fat Boy and it really helps me on the longer rides. I can recommend it without reservation.

Seat comfort comes down to seat time.

Look at the seats that are used in the Tour de France. No big pillows or back rests.

Mustang vintage solo with a ton of work done to it. It was reshaped, added gel, and pie sliced the middle to reduce tailbone pressure. My 850 mi ride to sturgis last year was the real test. I can finally say it's comfortable.

I have a 2016 Fatboy S. The first thing I did was buy a Mustang vintage solo seat ( I only ride solo.) I have had many bikes and I always get a Mustang seat.

There are many choices for seats out there. I have had 5 harleys and had butt burn from the stock seats on all of them. You can't enjoy your ride and/or keep from being distracted if your butt is killing you. So get something that works for you.

waiting on a ultimate seat with backrest now for my 15 Fat boy. Had one on my last bike and it was the first thing I bought after getting my bike home.

You'll love it, but you already know that.
